Medical Wellness & Post-Physical
Therapy Care
How we’ll work together
Age Well Medical Wellness programs are a perfect fit for individuals who have complex medical histories or conditions and need a more multifaceted approach to movement.
We develop a program for you and change it, in terms of intensity and type of exercise, depending on your unique goals.
So what does a program include?
High Intensity Training to promote brain health & cardiovascular fitness
Osteoporosis support via weight bearing exercises & strength building
Falls Prevention & Balance work
and MORE!
Our assessments are done by a physical therapist but we are not providing physical therapy. Medical Wellness is not yet covered by health insurance.
We charge on a by-visit rate, ideally we will set patients up on a monthly program. For some clients, it’s once weekly, for others it’s three times weekly, this depends on your needs and goals!
It’s comparable to expert local Personal Training, but our education & background comes with a greater depth of experience.

How to maintain + progress your health, energy & mobility
Wellness is a state of well-being.
It is an active process by which an individual progresses towards maximum potential possible, regardless of current state of health.
As we age, if chronic conditions exist or not, our ability and desire to exercise may decrease.
There is a large body of research and evidence that states that exercise is pivotal in remaining healthy.
At Age Well NC, we meet with our clients, commonly after they are done finishing up with physical therapy, and develop a plan to keep them healthy and moving for the long haul.
